Poster design For #ANIMATIO . Animatio is the latin name of Animation.
this was designed for World Animation Day . i was given the task of creating something visually appealing and diffrent . Lately i was working on polygonal geometric structure art so i thought of experimenting with that . creating this or rather while working on this i was exposed to many artworks like this which gave me inspiration and reference o create more work like this . 

 EXPERIMENTAL TYPOGRAPHIC ART

My first Experimental Art on typography. . Typography caught my eyes when i first a movie poster made by an artist so i researched about it and found out this beautiful art works made out of alphabets , many use different process or techniques to do this. So i tried and experimented on two of the images one using color and another black & white . blending them and editing them was actual fun .

Experimenting on Polygonal geometric  art. 

Project : Geometric polygonal artwork . i took up this self project as to make  artworks based on Geometric shapes and Polygons

Inspiration and reference : I was studying history of art and literature . there i had this Chapter called Cubism where artworks were made of cubes and shapes .Later the geometric low polygonal artwork were used in video games and there posters and as time went by it evolved so i got inspired from those and started experimenting on them

Work : These three are the experiments i have done the first one is done A Polygonal artwork on Miley Cyrus i did the geometric design and colored it .

The second was a model i kept the face transparent and and reducing the opacity and mixing up the medium as art and photography

the last one was an Attempt for ANIMATIO volume 2 . i created an artwork on dead pool and tried to give a funky look and its just a raw artwork without keeping any photographs and coloring .

When i took up the project to make an artwork on a water company  two things came to my mind 1: water is more necessary then why people prefer Soft drinks more than water 2: why all the soft drinks company make there product look so visually good and fancy ? the answer is 1 the marketing or promoting of the drinks are done in such an attractive way that there  design works like anything which forces the buyers to buy the product  they drink soft drinks no matter how harmful they are than drink water (unless necessary) , reason number 2 if your product is visually fancy and attractive the higher chances are there for people to turn at them. at times they work pretty well and hence they earn there profit . i took up a small challenge to make the bottle look pretty cool by doing a doodle work showing the city and the environment .

Adding this dude made it more  attractive which represented the youth of our times .

 #HEAVEN FIESTA ...
when i was Working as freelance artist i got to do a Project with an event and music album company HELLFEST Kolkata .  they used to organise fashion show metal band gigs and dance battles , They were making an event called Heaven Fiesta . It was an acoustic event and the artwork should made accordingly. So in general whenever i think of heaven the first thing usually come to my mind are Angels .its pretty general , i know , but i guess many of us have the same thing . But whats the point of doing something that 50 others will do. so i was watching afil called "Legion" and suddenly it came to my mind why Angels should that common and stereotype and why do things pretty general. So i searched about Medieval paintings and old Architectures And i came into this artwork mixing and paining and editing the entire art and mashing it up and finally composing it . This how i projected my entry pass design for Heaven Fiesta

poster Design for R.K, NARAYAN'S #HERO based on the Novel #MALGUDI #DAYS....

PROJECT . i was given a task to make a Poster rather a movie poster on a story given to me . So i got the story Hero small part of the Malgudi Days by R.K. Narayan,  the poster should be conceptual catchy and visually aesthetic .

MY IDEA AND THOUGHT :  So after a Brief reading the story two things highly attracted me 1 the mentality of the boy and his relation with his simple middle class family and family members , 2 is the grip the suspense the mystery the thrill hidden in the story .
Its like one night that will change the boy forever either he will come out as a man or he cant face darkness ever in life

MAKING OF THE POSTER :  At first i thought of making a simple poster but conceptual so the above one i made with hairs and minimal features . It may Look catchy but i didnt like it because it was too hard for people to understand
2nd poster was the the middle /second one from top was graphic siloutte . now it kind of depics the fear and mind of the boy and ambient of the room
it gives you a thrill .
The 3rd Poster was the final poster it kind of had the film poster feels . Keeping the trill with a Touch of suspense and aesthetic creativity i made it . It shows a young boy scared and walking into a haunted office (for  him ) and the office is edited in such a way so that a horror feel is dispersed from it ,

THE PACMAN BREAKFAST .. when i was given the project to make an artwork on BREAKFAST i was pretty confused about what to make because whenever we think of break fast very common images comes in our head. Either a plate with food or family eating together in a table , i at least have this common images . but then it stuck me why should breakfast be only for humans animals to have it . but then again after reading and seeing a lot of images i kind of came into conclusion that too many artworks are being made on animals having breakfast . Then it stuck even in games the main creatures eat there sub creature or enemies like in old mobile phones when we used to play snake the snake had to eat the pixel ball to grow ! thats also a kind of breakfast if we name it . But inspite of being an intresting game Snake didnt make me feel that crazy about it .so what game made our days and after searching and going through my junk boxes i finally found the 80s one of the legendary game PACMAN , the best thing about Pacman is 1 it keeps you right on the edge and you get hooked up 2 its a vice versa game  like the enimies or the virus eats the pacman which eventually kills him and pacman eats the virus which increases the point of his 3 this game actually shows packman eating them. So i thought in a way it is also a a breakfast for pacman . so hence the use.
another thing in this art work is the body of pacman is a chemical tube and flask specially used in Chemistry lab , now if we see closely  our human body is nothing less than a chemisry lab the entire human body works on chemical and mechanism specially the digestive system . so the body is a chemical tube. so i comapred or projected not only as a game but also a living being . this is how Pacman Breakfast came.

PROJECT: i was Asked to do a project on Roberto Matta influenced work . So Mr Matta one of the modern day pioneer of Surrealism mainly worked on Anti capitalist artwork and eventful day artwork making surrealism as his style

My Reference and influence : I was watching Motorcycle Diaries and i got picture of how things are . then as i myself believed in a specific political party i kind of had an idea and after a brief interview watching and studying about the world politics i came into this concept which i believe in a way is true ,  many posts of that times and historical references

How i created this 
i created this anti capitalist sketch. the mechanism and inside clock wheels represents the factories and the industries of the capital state , while the shoe represents the capital state . the people here are dominated by the states. their the labour. we the people running after capitalist state are the SOLD OUT ones. they bought us with junk poison of alcohol and chips . we think we are getting modern and advanced but no. we are actually being the dog . i didnt mean to insult or show down any political party . i just showed my take with Mr Mattas influence creating this artwork . the edgy unevern rough line drawing actually represents the old and rusty life style we actually have inside while working 

Project : i took up  this Art project keeping in my mind that the art should be 1 mixed medium 2 should be surreal 3 must contain a story or concept . now creating surreal could have been anything but i thought of making something fantasy and i wanted silhouette artwork .

Reference and inspiration : Okay i am a  big music fan specially 80 s rock n roll and metal so i was listening to Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the wall  and suddenly it came into my mind that the world we live in is so mechanical and Materialistic and all we lack is love and good dreams . beautiful things are dreams and lucid and incomplete so why not make a mechanical world with something exactly  like that so , now the next question i wanna make another world competing the  mechanical world so i suddenly U2's With You or Without You gave me an idea to make a fantsical world !! with creepy yet dreamy design house and add exactly those which are not in that mechanical world 

How i did it : So to make the Mechanical world i wanted to use something mechanical and hard So Black Chart paper was available and as i was making silhouette work so black is needed so i wanted to make a mixed medium art and whats the best way to portray a mechanical world without black hard paper , and after cutting those factory world i pasted them on blue painted paper and then i inverse it and painted the surreal world !! giving it designs and creating a story in that showing exactly the opposite of the mechanical world 

Project :  i was asked to create an artwork as an Brand Endorsement Of a company by keeping a quote in my mind " HAPPINESS IS WHAT YOU READ WHAT U SPEAK AND WHAT YOU THINK FALLS IN HARMONY ". now the Tough part in creating an artwork based on a quote and that too for company is tough and interesting because very time the art that comes to your mind when you utter the quote you have to keep in my ind that artwork should be appropriate and that should work . Another thing that should work is the quote should be well read in the artwork, it should match the bits and pieces

My reference and influence : I once  saw an art work in magazine where a man was sitting under a tree and there was cage hanging on the branch and all the birds were flying out. The art was on silhouette. That gave me an idea that i will make an artwork on one such company related to fashion that has hard copy . GQ was always one of my favourite men's fashion magazine company and i thought of making an artwork on them 



SO I CHOSE #GQ AS MY COMPANY AND CREATED THIS ARTWORK .
the Words inside the stomach represents good words . the mind that is the head is a cage where thwe birds are flying out, that represents liberty and Love .
and the book he is reading is good. hence what we read is what we speak and what we think are all in harmony. he is reading a good book hence his words are good. amd so is his thought. ALL ARE CHAINED UP IN ONE

THE JOKER.  my first digital sketch 

My Character Sketch of #KARNA  the brave from the epic Mahabharata . what if Karna was born in today's times. he would have got a bit western Influence . so here is a mashup  between western and Indian style. 

This is #UTOO . Utoo is a female Ostrich .. i have done this character. observing few of close ones. specially ladies. their Reaction On Boys and Love . i actually took an ostrich instead of  a girl because that will be too regular and moreover ostrich are rare animals made into cartoon comics . In Bengali language and Ostrich is called "Uooth Pakhi"
so from Utooth Paki to Utoo came
for a long time i wanted to make simple comic strip on funny reactions on girls on how they react when they see a boy .

One thing we will always notice that in this world we humans have a habit generalizing and categorizing stuff and beauty isnt left behind . we judge a person how beautiful they are by there face . HERMOSA means beautiful this artwork is answer of faceless beauty . everyone is beautiful . So in this artwork there is no face !

WINGS OF PASSION

THE RED FALCON 

PROJECT : Basically I took this project rather decided to make it on Woman's day 2017.  I thought of creating a three artworks in a row . the condition i made to myself was 1 it will be entirely on multi color  or monochromatic line paint artwork 2 it will solely based upon woman and 3 a certain woman empowerment and passion should reflect on the artwork .

Influence and Reference : I was watching the film The Black Swan and then Ice Princess and a ballet show,  and i noticed how gracefully the dancer moves like a flow . Like a Falcon gliding through the air . smooth swift and flawless . they entirely express there emotions through that dance .

My work : i did color strokes and made out a figure of a girl every strokes represented her emotions and energy. every stroke represented her power in the dance and life .and instead of a hand i gave her a  wing which depicted the power and smoothness of a falcon the red wings also depicts The passion of hers in this dance , A dancer is not just a dancer a dancer is a storyteller 

THE COLOR BLANKET :  

PROJECT : when i thought of doing the project WINGS OF PASSION it was Woman's Day on 2017. i thought my send artwork will actually represent The woman and her struggle as a whole through color strokes . every strokes should speak of the profession she is in and various color depictions . and i wanted to punch them all in one single figure which shows every woman has all qualities

Influence and Reference: when i thought of executing my work in into digital platform i looked upon many woman my sister mother friend ,boss and many other random woman. 2 things came into into my mind after seeing them and interacting with them ! . 1 this women are multihanded people they work they look after their kids their home and personal and then manages a Firm . 2: There is wilderness and craze inside every woman apart from being graceful and explicit beauty.

My work : So i thought of creating a woman but with different multi color lines and shades each color represented a woman's characteristics and feature . Red depicted love and passion ,yellow depicted courage and attractive , pink depicted the femine side of them .so which each stroke i defined women and the shade or passion of hers . Every color shows her work and roles in a day to day life 

#HERMOSA means Beautiful. often we judge a face or a beauty with their appearance . but does beauty define a good looking face ? i do not agree. face can never decide someone's beauty . we often call someone beautiful with a good looking face and not with some one who looks ordinary. the power of beauty lies within a person not in a face so beauty should not be judged by a face, here is my new artwork #hermosa . a face of a girl without a face. isnt she beautiful ? i bet she is . 

DANCAHOLIC

PROJECT : This is the last work of the project WINGS OF PASSION. When i wanted to make this i was really thinking hard because i already did an artwork on Dance but this time if i make something like that ,the concept should be different and fresh . So i thought of making a dance artwork through monochromatic color strokes and present purely an artwork based on it that is only dance only . i wanted to show the deep dive that gives life  a shape and meaning through a Artworks thet rip we experience or a woman experience through dance .

Inspiration and reference : i was watching this film called Street dance and and another film called Step up - Revolution and both the film are based on dance and both showed contemporary dance style so this gave me half of the idea now another friend of mine from Italy is dancer so one day she showed her dancing to me and i was  awestruck so when i asked her , she said dance is like getting drunk  more you do the more you get lost .Into it .Takes you to a different platform

how i did it : i took a picture of this pose of my  friend and the with grey blown and blue strokes i created this artwork the position and the face shows how much she is drunk in this dance the entire grace of her body was spoke
